This 50th anniversary commemorative watch pays tribute to the \u201cSilver Snoopy Award\u201d that OMEGA received from NASA astronauts in 1970
\nin recognition of the brand\u2019s contributions to space exploration,
\nincluding the Apollo 13 mission. The 42 mm stainless steel case is presented on a blue nylon fabric strap,
\nwhose embossed lining depicts the Apollo 13 flight path. The silver dial features angular blue PVD hour markers and hands,
\nand a silver Snoopy medallion in relief on the blue subdial at 9 o\u2019clock. On the NAIAD LOCK caseback,
\nan image of the Moon\u2019s far side has been decorated on the sapphire crystal using microstructured metallization. An animated Snoopy in his Command and Service Module (CSM) appears on a magical hand
\nthat rotates when the chronograph function is activated. Behind it,
\na disc representing Earth rotates once per minute, in sync with the watch\u2019s small seconds hand. Alongside black engravings on the caseback honoring Apollo 13 and OMEGA\u2019s Silver Snoopy Award,
\nthere is also a blue ceramic [ZrO\u2082] bezel with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The watch, produced in an unlimited edition, is powered by OMEGA\u2019s Co\u2011Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3861
